AMED - Condemning the murder of journalists Cihan Bilgin and Nazım Dashtan, DBP Headquarters said: "It should not be forgotten that those who remain silent are also a part of this crime. A great resistance must be displayed so that the attacks against the Rojava people can be prevented. With this stance, we express our condolences to the free press."
Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Headquarters reacted to the murder of journalists Nazım Daştan and Cihan Bilgin, who were following the developments in Northern and Eastern Syria, on their digital media accounts.
DBP published the following message on its digital media account regarding the journalists killed by Turkey's drone attack: "We learnt with pain that journalists Nazım Dashtan and Cihan Bilgin were killed by the Turkish state's drone attack. Both journalists became the voice of Rojava with their work in the Free Press. Those who unlawfully target the will of the Rojava people are trying to cover up the massacre of civilians and the war they are waging. That is why they target journalists. It should not be forgotten that those who remain silent about this crime are also a part of this crime. A great resistance must be displayed so that the attacks against the Rojava people are prevented. With this stance, we express our condolences to the free press."
