NEWS CENTRE - The free press struggling against censorship announced their new digital media accounts: ‘We will continue to defend the truth!’ A solidarity campaign will be held today at 20.00 with the hashtag #ÖzgürBasınSusturulamaz.

 

JINNEWS, Yeni Yaşam newspaper and Mezopotamya Agency (MA), whose digital media accounts were banned from access, continue their struggle against censorship with determination. Following the access bans imposed on their old accounts reaching hundreds of thousands of followers, free press organisations announced their new digital media addresses.

 

Continuing their resistance against censorship, the press organisations addressed their followers with the message ‘Follow our new accounts, let's defend the truth together’. Press labourers stressed that censorship and restrictions will not prevent them from writing the truth.

 

The new digital media accounts are as follows:

Press labourers condemned the access blocking decisions that prevent the public's right to receive news and stated that they will not leave the pursuit of the truth.
