Filiz Kerestecioğlu: I voted for women subjected to violence

ANKARA - HDP MP Candidate Filiz Kerestecioğlu went to polls and she said she voted for women subjected to violence, for sexually abused children and for all people demanding justice in the country.
 
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Candidate from Ankara Filiz Kerestecioğlu went to polls in Dikmen Teacher Necla Kızılbağ Secondary School located in Ankara’s Çankaya district. Filiz, wearing a Peacock Angel brooch representing Ezidî women, made a short statement to the press members after voting.
 
‘Tomorrow we will wake up to a more beautiful and sunny day’
 
Stating that she voted for women subjected to violence, for sexually abused children and for all people demanding justice in the country, Filiz said, “I voted for those who struggle for our freedom and our rights and our labor. Tomorrow we will wake up to a more beautiful and sunny day.”
