VAN - Many people carrying out the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) electoral campaign in Van province have been taken into custody.

 

Police conducted house raids in Van province in the morning against the people carrying out the electoral campaign of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). The reports say many people have been taken into custody after house raids conducted in Vali Mithat and Süphan neighborhoods of Van’s Edremit district. Evin Özgür, daughter of Tuşba Municipality Council member Pervin Özgür, has been reportedly among the detained people.
