STANBUL – Newroz fire was lit in nine districts of Istanbul before Newroz celebration to be held in Istanbul tomorrow.

 

Newroz to be celebrated in Istanbul’s Bakırköy Market with the motto,“Let’s strengthen resistance with the spirit of Newroz; let’s gain the victory in Afrin” is just hours away. Last night, Newroz fire was lit in Istanbul’s Kartal, Gaziosmanpaşa, Fatih, Başakşehir, Sultangazi, Sultanbeyli, Sancaktepe, Küçükçekmece and Esenyurt districts. The citzens gathering around the fire danced and celebrated Newroz.

 

The celebrations in Istanbul continued until late.
