‘You will go to Afrin or you will be deported’ threat to workers

ŞIRNAK - Syrian workers work at TOKİ (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) in Konak Neighborhood of Cizre have been allegedly threatened by police and forced to join Turkey’s attacks on Afrin.
 
Syrian workers, who work at TOKİ (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) in Konak Neighborhood of Şırnak’s Cizre district, have been allegedly forced to join Turkey’s attacks on Afrin. One worker, who didn’t want give his name, said the police had put all Syrian workers together and told them “You will go to Urfa, we will arrange a car from here.”
 
Workers threatened to be deported
 
45 Syrian workers came to Cizre’s Konak Neighborhood to build TOKİ in the neighborhood after the lifting of the curfew. 20 of them are still working there. The workers have been allegedly threatened by police and told, “You will go to Afrin or you will be deported”. The other 25 workers allegedly left Turkey a week ago because they didn’t accept to join the war.
