12-year-old musician plays for animals

ISTANBUL - 12-year-old Tuana Ekin Şahin plays the violin on the streets and she spends all she earns for animals to prevent them from going hungry.
 
12-year-old Tuana Ekin Şahin has played the violin on Istanbul’s İstiklal Avenue since summer. Her aim is to be in solidarity with the street animals by earning money from her street perform. Every weekend she goes to İstiklal Avenue with her parents and she plays the violin for animals.
 
Her purpose is to establish a village for cats
 
Integrating her love of animals and music, Tuana says they have built a cat house in Zeytinburnu and they have kept about 100 dogs by earning money from her street perform until now and she adds, “I am still working and I am taking food for them.”
 
Stating that she will continue to perform on the streets for animals, Tuana says her main purpose is to establish a village for cats in the children’s park.
