Death toll from earthquake rises to 450

NEWS CENTER - Death toll from the 7.3 magnitude earthquake stroke Eastern and Southern Kurdistan Sunday night rises to 450; 7.000 people have been injured.
 
The aftermath of the earthquake in Southern Kurdistan and Eastern Kurdistan centered in Halabja with a magnitude of 7.3 continues to get worse. Death toll from the earthquake rises to 450; 7.000 people has been injured. 12,000 houses have been reportedly destroyed just in Kermanshah province of Eastern Kurdistan. Seven people have lost their lives and 535 others have been wounded in Sulaimaniyah.
 
The death toll in Kirmanshan, Serpol Zahab, Dalaho, Selasi Bewecani, Islamadî Xerb, Qasr-e Shirin and Ciwanro continues to rise.
 
Calls for solidarity
 
Many political parties and NGOs have continued to call on people for “urgent solidarity” with victims.
