Peace Mothers request a meeting with the Prime Minister

ANKARA – Peace Mothers coming from many cities to Ankara went to the parliament to demand peace once again. They requested a meeting with the Prime Minister to initiate peace and dialogue process and to arrange a meeting with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
 
Peace Mothers gathered in the parliament to demand peace once again. Peace Mothers’ Initiative and Saturday Mothers departed from Ankara, Konya, Muş, Eskişehir, Diyarbakır and Istanbul joined the meeting of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Parliamentary Group.
 
‘A dialogue should be established with Abdullah Öcalan’
 
Peace Mothers spoke in the meeting and they said, “We demand the freedom of Mr.Öcalan. We demand a dialogue. We came here as Peace Mothers, we are appealing to the Prime Minister; we will not leave the parliament today until he meets with us. Mothers demand peace. A dialogue should be established with Öcalan. All Mr. Öcalan wants is peace.”
 
Then, the Peace Mothers requested a meeting with the Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım in order to pave the way for peace and dialogue process and for a meeting with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
 
Peace Mothers, who haven’t received any response from the Prime Ministry, are still waiting by ululating and shouting slogans.
