16 people detained in Kadıköy released

ISTANBUL – 16 people, who were detained yesterday in Istanbul’s Kadıköy district just before issuing a press statement in order to draw attention to the visit ban imposed on the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, have been released by the order the prosecutor's office.
 
Yesterday, Istanbul Democratic Institutions Platform gathered at Khalkedon Square of Istanbul’s Kadıköy district to issue a press statement in order to draw attention to the visit ban imposed on the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. 16 people were detained by police just before the press statement. 16 people, including Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Provincial Co-chairs, have been released by the order the prosecutor's office after their health control at Haseki Training and Research Hospital.
