Sêmalka resistance on its 60th day: ‘We are here until we take the bodies’

NEWS CENTER - At the Sêmalka Border Gate, the message ‘’We are here until we take the bodies’’ was given on the 60th day of the action launched to take the bodies from the KDP.
 
The vigil action, which was launched at the Sêmalka Border Gate between the Federated Kurdistan Region and North and East Syria to take the bodies of HPG members who lost their lives in an ambush laid by special forces affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), continues on its 60th day.
 
Visits to the action initiated by the Cizire Region Martyrs’ Families Council continue. Tirbespiyê District Council took over the action continued by the members of the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
Speaking on behalf of activists, Hoşnav Ferxo, Co-chair of Maşoka Town Council of Tirbespiyê, thanked everyone who continued the action with determination for two months. ‘’Today, we also participated in the honorable action which is continued to take the bodies of our heroics who were martyred by the KDP. Our guerrillas are ready to lay down their lifes to protect their people in all parts of Kurdistan. But unfortunately, our heroic guerrillas were martyred by those who call themselves Kurd,’’ Hoşnav said.
 
‘Tent will not be left empty’
 
In the speeches made afterwards, it was stated that the action will continue with determination and the message was given that the struggle will not be given up until the bodies are taken and the tent will not be left empty.
