DİYARBAKIR - Speaking about the HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Organization’s extraordinary congress that will take place on November 14, Congress Commission co-spokesperson Nevriye Çur said, ‘’The day is a day to raise struggle’’.

 

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Organization made a statement at their party’s Yenişehir district building for their 3rd extraordinary congress to be held on November 14.

HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Co-Chair Zeyyat Ceylan talked about the congress works and stated that the non-governmental organizations in the city also supported the congress works.

 

‘Isolation is not limited with Imralı’

 

Speaking in the statement, Congress Commission co-spokesperson Sedat Batur mentioned that the AKP-MHP rulership continues its political genocide operations against the HDP and said, ‘’Isolation is not limited with Imralı, there is targeting people who do not think like them. We are trying to hold the Diyarbakır congress in such an atmosphere. We have issued our attitude document before. We are planning to hold the Amed provincial congress with enthusiasm. We thank the institutions we visited. The new administration is qualified to meet the expectations of the people’’.

 

Nevriye Çur, who took the floor afterwards, stated that the people of Diyarbakır should participate in the congress and said, ‘’The day is a day to increase morale and motivation. The day is a day to raise struggle. We will build a new and free life. On this occasion, we invite all the people of Amed to the congress’’.
