ANKARA - The Konya Magistrates Court rejected the request of Abdurrahman Karabulut, the lawyer of the murdered Kurdish family, to ‘’arrest Ali Keleş in the light of the evidences’’.

Abdurrahman Karabulut, the lawyer of the Kurdish Dedeoğulları family, who was murdered in the Meram district of Konya on July 30, demanded the arrest of Ali Keleş, who was among the suspects.
After the 12 May attack on the Dedeoğulları family, Ali Keleş established the Whatsapp group, which includes members of the Keleş and Çalık family, regularly deposited 500 TR for each of those arrested after the attack, frequently mentioned the Dedeoğulları family in his Whatsapp messages, and said, ‘’If peace is not reached, it will be bad things’’. Therefore, his arrest was demanded as part of the massacre file.

Evaluating the lawyer’s request, the Konya Magistrates Court rejected the request for Ali Keleş’s arrest. Lawyer Abdurrahman stated that they will object the rejection decision by taking it to a high court.
