ADANA - In Kozan, 54-year-old Gülten E. was arrested for using her self-defense against the man who attempted to kill her. Gülten said, ‘’If he had not died, I would have died’’.

 

Gülten E., 54, who lives in the Tufanpaşa Neighborhood of Kozan district of Adana, killed Osman E., who has subjected her to systematic violence, using her self-defense on October 19. Gülten E., who was taken into custody by the police, was arrested by the court which she was referred.

 

Gülten E., in her statement, said that her spouse had been drinking alcohol and listening to loud music on the balcony and that she warned him to turn down the music, but he battered her and attacked her with a sharp object. She said that when she took the sharp object that fell to the ground and threw it around to defend herself, she killed him. Gülten said, ‘’If he had not died, I would have died’’.
