3 women abducted in Afrin

NEWS CENTER - In Afrin, three women were abducted by paramilitary structures affiliated with Turkey. According to the data of Afrin Human Rights Organization, 279 women have been abducted since 2018.
 
In the Afrin Canton, which Turkey and the groups it supports took control of in 2018, women continue to be abducted. According to the news that Hawar News Agency (ANHA) based on a local source, two women were abducted in Birîmce village of Mabata district on October 17. The whereabouts of two women, 28-year-old Mizgîn and 33-year-old Sozan, are unknown.
 
Following the news that the pregnant Nemet Behcet Şêxo was tortured and killed in the prison where she was held in Afrin, it was stated that 27-year-old Elmasê Xelil Hec Ebdo was abducted by the same structures in the Kefersefrê village of Cindirês district today. It is not known where Hec, who was abducted for the third time, was taken.

According to the data of Afrin Human Rights Organization; 40 women were killed, 128 women were injured and 60 women exposed to rape between 2018-2019. 279 women were abducted. Five out of 60 women who were raped were driven to suicide. According to the data of the Syria-Afrin Human Rights Organization, more than 7810 people were abducted in Afrin, the fate of 3000 people is unknown, and nearly 50 people are being held in prisons in Turkey.
