Mesopotamia Cultural Center ready to ‘Berbang’

ISTANBUL - Mesopotamia Cultural Center has completed its final preparations for its 30th anniversary celebration ‘’Berbang’’.
 
Mesopotamia Cultural Center, which was founded in Istanbul by a group of intellectuals, including Musa Anter, is celebrating its 30th foundation anniversary this year. Mesopotamia Cultural Center, which has been carrying out art works for 30 years without interruption, will hold a mass celebration at Bostancı Performance Center on Saturday, October 16th, with the slogan ‘’Berbang (dawn)’’. The preparations started months ago for the celebration have come to an end. Mesopotamia Cultural Center artists prepared for the celebration with enthusiasm, performed their final rehearsals before the concert.
 
Call to Berbang
 
Tickets for the ‘’Berbang’’ concert, where 16 artists and three groups will take the stage, are almost sold out. Mesopotamia Cultural Center artist Nurcan Değirmenci, who called for the participation of the public before the concert that will be held for the 30th anniversary of Mesopotamia Cultural Center, said: ‘’We have been working very energetically for about two months with the slogan of ‘Berbang’. Mesopotamia Cultural Center is a 30-year culture and art journey. I invite all of our people to celebrate its 30th anniversary together at the Bostancı Performance Center.’’
 
In the concert, artists Xero Abbas, Gülseven Medar, Mikail Aslan, Ferit Elalmış, Nuray Balık, Engin Cengiz, Weysi Ermiş, Nurcan Değirmenci, Ümit Uçar, Nurhak Kılagöz, Genim, Mervan Tan, Deniz Esmer, Ruken Yılmaz, Talat Yeşil, and from the groups Koma Ma, Hinek Henek and Koma Jinên Surê will take the stage.
