Hunger strike action on its 259th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike resistance against aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and increasing rights violations in prisons is on its 259th day.
 
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, has entered its 259th day. The 48th group continues the hunger strike, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days, and has continued alternately every 15 days since 14 July.
 
Hunger strike in Maxmur enters its 238th day
 
The hunger strike, which started on December 18, 2020, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, has entered its 238th day.
 
Day 221 in Lavrio
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by who are staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on PKK leader and to support the ongoing hunger strikes in prisons has entered its 221st day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
