Police attack to members of Suruç Families Initiative

ANKARA - The police attacked the members of the Suruç Families Initiative, who came to Ankara to commemorate 10 October. 13 people were detained in the attack.
 
Suruç Families Initiative, which will participate in the commemoration of those who lost their lives in the 10 October Ankara Massacre within the scope of the campaign carried out in the sixth anniversary of the Suruç Massacre, was not taken to the field.
 
Riot police surrounded the Suruç Families Initiative members, whose vehicles were stopped near the train station, and attacked the crowd with tear gas.
Ümmühan Özdemir, Yücel Yavuz, Volkan Uyar, Yaren Tuncer, Ebru Yiğit, Birkan Polat, Doğucan Adıyaman, Şamil Parlak, Zeynep Tan, Zeynep Ülger, Ayşe Mizgin Esmer, Doğuş Özdemir and Güney Akgün were detained with torture in the attack.
