Hunger strike action enters its 149th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched by the prisoners against the aggravated isolation and the increasing violations of rights in prisons has entered its 149th day.
 
The hunger strike action launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, with the demands of lifting the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, who was held in İmralı F Type High-Security Closed Prison and demanding an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues with the 30th group. The action has entered its 149th day.
 
The hunger strike launched in Maxmur Martyr Rüstem Cudi Refugee Camp under the leadership of the Ishtar Council continues. The 64th group took over the action, which entered its 127th day.
 
The hunger strike in Greece's Lavrio Camp led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan) has entered its 111th day.
