Trustee suspended 7 seller women to 3 months from market!

DİYARBAKIR - Seven women, who spoke to the press that they did not want the men to be placed in the Jiyan District Bazaar in Bağlar were suspended from the market for three months and fined 427TRY by the municipality. On the other hand, women stated that they were threatened.
 
In a meeting held under the chairperson of Hüseyin Beyoğlu, who was appointed as a trustee to Bağlar Municipality, which won by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in Diyarbakır in the last local election, it was decided to take 400 men to the Jiyan District Bazaar. The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of Bağlar Women Sellers Aid and Solidarity Association Hazal Tunç, Bağlar First and Second District Bazaar Association Chairs and the council members of the municipality, and the decision was finalized at the Municipal Council meeting. Accordingly, the women's stall, which was four meters, was reduced to three meters. A draw lot is expected to determine the locations by the notary. Women laborers do not want men to be placed in the market.
 
Seller women, who did not want men to be placed in the market, spoke to the press and wanted public opinion to be formed. However, trustee Hüseyin Beyoğlu and Diyarbakır Police Director gave a three- month suspension from the market and a fine of 427TRY for seven women who spoke to the press.
 
On the other hand, women stated that they were threatened.
