'Yeni Yaşam newspaper censored in the prison'

Nudem told her family: “No measures are taken for the Covid-19. However, our wards are being raided for search reasons. The wardens entered our ward recently to search. Although we said, "Here there are Covid-19 cases, how can you search?" Our wards were searched high and low. Violations of rights continue to be very intenseOur letters are not given to us and the letters we sent are not sent under the same reason. They put a limit to water usage and we cannot fulfill our water needs. We have applied to the prison administration many times to have Yeni Yaşam newspaper, but the newspaper is not given to us. The goods sold in the canteen are also sold to us at very high prices.
