Arbitrarily obstruction to HDP’s electoral campaign in Mardin!

MARDİN - HDP Mardin Provincial organization stated that their electoral campaign has been obstructed by law enforcement officers and they announced that they will file a criminal complaint against the officers.
 
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Mardin Provincial Organization has made a statement on arbitrarily obstruction to their electoral campaign for the snap election to be held on June 24 by police and soldiers. HDP’s candidates for nomination also attended the statement made at the party’s provincial building. HDP Mardin Provincial Co-chair Ali Sincar read the statement said, “We opened our first office for the elections in Mazıdağı on May 10. We have continued our works in all districts. But we face arbitrarily obstruction and difficulties in some districts.”
 
Shopkeepers are threatened in Dargeçit!
 
Ali talked about the obstructions they have faced in Dargeçit and Savur districts and he said, “We have rent the tea shops in Dargeçit to use them as offices for our electoral campaign; however the owners of the tea shops have been told that their licenses will be canceled by the security branch and they have faced threats. Our working group consists of HDP MP Ali Atalan was followed by police carrying batons during their visit to Savur district and our group was prevented from visiting the shopkeepers and the people. And police performed an identity check on one of our administrators. We call on the governorate to immediately take necessary steps.”
 
‘We will file a criminal complaint’
 
Stating that they will file a criminal complaint against those who obstructed them, Ali said they would use their legal rights as the HDP Mardin Provincial Organization.
