First female candidate for nomination of HDP in Mardin: Let’s stand up for our will

MARDİN - Emira Er has become the first female candidate for nomination of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). Emira called on all women of Mardin to stand up for their will.
 
Applications for being candidate for nomination to the political parties for the snap election to be held on June 24 in Turkey are going on. Emira Er has become the first woman made application to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Mardin province to be a candidate for nomination of the party. Emira spoke to our news agency.
 
‘I applied for my people’s cause’
 
Saying that she becomes the candidate for nomination in order to support the long- lasting Kurdish people’s struggle, Emira continued to speak as follows; “I came here for my people’s cause. I have this power. I want to solve the existing problems with the will and power of the Kurdish people. I become the first applied woman in Mardin. It's a great excitement for me. I want to be solution power for these problems.”
 
‘All women should apply’
 
Emira called on women of Mardin to apply and said, “My call on all women of Mardin is; they have this power and they should apply. This is a heavy duty but the Kurdish women and overcome this. We can stand against the oppression and pressure by speaking out.”
