‘#World’sLONGESTCurfewisSurCurfew’ action on social media

NEWS CENTER - ‘Curfew’, which has passed into history as the world’ longest curfew, in Diyarbakır’s Sur district, has entered its second year. The Say No for Demolishing of Sur Platform, which wants to attract people’ attention will be in action with the hashtag of #World’sLONGESTCurfewisSur on social media today.
 
“Curfew” declared in Sur after the declaration of self-governance in Sur on December 2, 2015, has entered its second year. Sur’s people, which is wanted to loot, demolish and migrate Kurdish people from there, continues to resist regardless. People will come together with #World’sLONGESTCurfewisSur hashtag on social media with Say No for Demolishing of Sur Platform to act with solidarity, today in second year of curfew, resistance and demolishment at 15.00 p.m.
 
The platform will continue with supports of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and people’s supports on December 2.
