NEWS CENTRE - The Rojava Education Directorate in Silêmanî organised a demonstration to express its support for Rojava.

 

The people of South Kurdistan, like other parts of Kurdistan and many cities in Europe, have been holding demonstrations in support of Rojava for days. Support marches are being held in many centres, particularly in Silêmanî, setting a historic example of solidarity.

 

Like many institutions and organisations, the Rojava Education Directorate in Silêmanî also announced its support for Rojava with an event. Teachers and students participating in the action carried the official flag of the Kurdistan Region.

 

After the “Ey Reqib” march was recited, they marched with the slogans “Rojava û Rojhilat, Kurdistan Yek Welat”, “Yek e Yek e Yek e”, “Gelê Kurd yek e” and “Bijî Berxwedana Rojava”.

 

It was stated that the protests would be transformed into a weapon of morale to support Rojava, and that the unity of the Kurds instilled fear in all enemies and that if this continued, the Kurds would be able to achieve all their goals.

 

The Kurdistan Region Ministry of Education had announced that this week's first lesson would cover the Rojava Resistance and support for the Kurdish people's cause. As of this morning, the subject of the Kurdish resistance was addressed in the first lesson in all schools.
