November 27, 2015: ‘KJA sent a letter to Abdullah Öcalan’

Under the leading of the Free Women’s Congress (KJA) Van components, women sent a letter to Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan and women prisoners on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the PKK.
Some of the prominent developments in history today are as follows:
2004: The 1st Country Conference of Home-Based Working Women was held.
2015: Under the leading of the KJA Van components, women sent a letter to PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and women prisoners on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the PKK and the November 25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
2020: The European Bar Association Council’s 2020 Human Rights Award was given to lawyer Ebru Timtik, who lost her life on the death fast she initiated with the demand for a fair trial.
