ANKARA - HDP Batman MP Feleknas Uca asked the Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Bilgin about the decrease in the rate of women's employment areas and the fact that women find fewer jobs than men.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Feleknas Uca submitted a parliamentary question regarding the lack of women's employment, with the request of Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, to answer.

Mentioning that the social role that try to impose on women in Turkey causes women to find work more difficult than men, the parliamentary question stated: "Women look for jobs where they can carry out household and family affairs together, and this causes women to work insecure and flexible. Educated woman labor force, on the other hand, is exposed to discrimination and women find it harder to get a job than men. This problem, which is described as underemployment, stems from the problems in employment and education policies."
