NEWS CENTER - The 38th group takes over the hunger strike launched against isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing rights violations in prisons.
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons continues. The action entered its 186th day with the 38th group.

The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by those staying in Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation against Abdullah Öcalan and to support the ongoing hunger strike in prisons continues on its 148th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
