Resistance against isolation continues on its 179th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched against the aggravated isolation in İmralı Prison and the increasing violations of rights in prisons is on its 179th day.
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation imposed upon PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues. The action continues on the 179th day with the 36th group.

The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by those staying in the Lavrio Camp of Greece to end the isolation against Abdullah Öcalan and support the hunger strikes in prisons continues on its 141st day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the leading of Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
