Systematic rape to disabled woman in Urfa

URFA - Five men from the staff of Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital raped a hearing- impaired woman who came to the hospital for treatment.
 
C.İ., A.Ç., N.A., F.R. by K.Ç. named men raped a hearing-impaired woman. After the woman who was registered as a patient shared her contact information with the staff, it was learned that the staff shared the information with four friends and raped the woman systematically.
 
According to the news in the Mesopotamia Agency (MA), the incident emerged after a discussion on Monday, April 12, among the staff using some of the hospital's polyclinics.
 
Wanting to cover up the rape
 
According to the information obtained from the hospital personnel, after the occurrence of the incident, the hospital management said that C.İ., A.Ç., and N.A. were on leave first. However, after the reactions, announced that an administrative investigation was initiated against them. While it was alleged that the hospital administration protected the persons involved in the rape incident, C.İ., A.Ç. and N.A. were claimed to be employed in Karaköprü Oral and Dental Health Hospital.
 
One of the perpetrators, F.R. and K.Ç., was learned that they are still on duty.
 
While the increase in sexual violence incidents involving hospital personnel in the last year in Urfa drew attention, the mother and daughter, who were treated at Eyyübiye State Hospital last year, were subjected to sexual assault by two security guards of the hospital. After the incident was heard, both security guards were assigned to Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital.

Upon the allegations, the chief physician staff of the hospital stated that there was an investigation by the Provincial Health Directorate regarding the incident and that they could not share information and directed to the Provincial Health Directorate. Provincial Health Directorate official stated that the investigation is continuing and cannot share information with the press. The official confirming the investigation, did not share the information whether he was suspended as a result of the incident, and stated that after the completion of the investigation, the Provincial Health Directorate will make a statement.
