The people's resistance at the Tişrîn Dam, which was launched against the attacks of Turkey and the guided gangs, continues with great determination on its 16th day. The vigil was supported by a delegation from the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

 

Despite the cold and rainy weather, the people gathered at the Tişrîn Dam and frequently gave a message of resistance.  

 

What happened?

 

On 8 December 2024, Turkey and its guided gangs started intensive attacks against the Tişrîn Dam. In order to protect the dam and prevent the attacks, people came to the dam from all over Northern and Eastern Syria and started a watch action from 8 January, and citizens in the watch resistance were repeatedly attacked.

 

20 people were killed and more than 120 citizens were wounded in the attacks during the ongoing action at Tişrîn Dam with determination.
