ANKARA- DEM Party delegation met with Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş. The delegation will make a statement on Monday.

 

Parliamentary Deputy Speaker Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan and Ahmet Türk of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), which met with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan on 28 December, met with Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş. 

 

The first meeting, which lasted approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes, was held in the presidential chamber of Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, closed to the press.  

 

After the meeting, Sırrı Süreyya Önder said: "The meeting was positive, we are hopeful, we will make a comprehensive statement on Monday. We will visit the other parties CHP and AKP on Monday."

 

The delegation will meet with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli at 15.00.
