WAN/AMED - While the Justice Watch, which is on its 31st day in Wan and its 32nd day in Amed, continues with solidarity visits, the message "Let's break the isolation with struggle" was given.

 

The Justice Watch, which was initiated in Wan under the leadership of the Wan Association for Assistance with Detainee and Convict Families (TUHAY-Der) and the families of prisoners, with the motto "Let's break the isolation for justice, let's voice the prisons for social peace", continues on its 31st day. Visits continue at the Özgül Center building, where the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Wan Provincial Organization is located. Today, citizens from the Elbak (Başle) District Organization of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) and the Seyrantepe and Beyüzümü neighborhoods of Tuşba visited the action.

 

'Let's break the isolation through struggle'

 

A citizen named Bilal Soylu, who came from Seyrantepe, stated that they supported the action in order to increase solidarity. Noting that they will continue their visits to break the isolation, Bilal said, “Everyone needs to visit and participate in this protest. We believe that we will win with resistance and struggle. Let's break the isolation through struggle.”

 

The action continued with visits and songs with the slogan "Bijî berxwedana zindanan".

The hunger strike action launched in the prisons of Kurdistan and Turkey with the motto "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, political solution to the Kurdish problem" has passed its 39th day. The Justice Watch action, which was initiated under the leadership of the prisoner families and the Prisoner Families Solidarity Association (TUAY-DER) with the same demand, continues on its 32nd day. Visits to the protest in Rezan (Bağlar) District Organization of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) continue.

 

At the vigil where messages of resistance and struggle were given, Meryem Soylu, mother of sick prisoner Amine Kaya, sang prayers upon the demands of women.
