NEWS CENTER - It was stated that "Jinelogy Days" will be organized in Northern and Eastern Syria in memory of Jineology Research Center Member Nagihan Akarsel.

 

"Jineerji Days" will be held in memory of Nagihan Akarsel, a journalist and academician and member of the Jineology Research Center, who was murdered as a result of the attack in Silêmani city of Southern Kurdistan on October 4, 2022. "Jinelogy Days", organized by the North and East Syria Jineology Academy, will be held on October 2-4.

 

Event in 7 cities

 

According to the news in Nûjinha, the events will be held in 7 cities. On October 2, a press statement will be made in front of the United Nations (UN) in Qamishlo and a message will be conveyed to the UN. Nagîhan's short story will be told. The performance “I am Nîsan” will be performed. There will be Dengbêj and “Kurdish Woman” poetry recitals. The theater 'Jin, jiyan, azadi' will be staged by Elefterya Group. The same events will also be held in  Kobanê, Şehba, Tebqa, Minbic  Halep and Derik.

 

The library will be opened

 

On the anniversary of Nagihan's murder, a library named after him will be opened in the city of Halep.
