ISTANBUL - The "KCK Press Case", in which 46 journalists and press workers were tried, was postponed.
The 28th hearing of the case, known as the "KCK Press Case", in which 46 people, including journalists and media workers, were tried, was held at the Istanbul 3rd High Criminal Court. While some of the lawyers of journalists and media workers were present at the hearing, some of them did not attend by making excuses.
While the court was reading the old minutes due to the delegation change, it stated that the arrest warrant issued for İsmet Kayhan, who was on trial, was not executed.
Subsequently, the prosecution and the lawyers of those on trial demanded that the missing points be corrected.
Hüseyin Boğatekin, the lawyer of one of the prosecuted Yüksel Genç, stated that there was an investigation at the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office covering the same dates as the act in this file. Hüseyin requested that the investigation be investigated and consolidated when necessary.
Postponed to October 31st
The court decided to wait for the execution of the arrest warrant issued for İsmet Kayhan. The hearing was adjourned to 31 October.
