According to the news in NûJINHA, a group of women in Afghanistan gathered in a closed place on June 19 to protest the Taliban. The women, who shot and broadcast a video, emphasized that the people of Afghanistan have been held hostage by the Taliban in the last two years and that all legal rights of women have been usurped.

In the footage, the women stated that the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council should stand by the women of Afghanistan on the basis of human rights, and stated that some international organizations ignore the Taliban terrorism and use it for their own interests. The women called out, "The world should not support the terrorist organization Taliban and use it as a tool for their own interests."
