AGİRİ - Thousands of people gathered under the leadership of women to ignite the Newroz fire in Bazid and marched with torches.

One of the centers where Newroz is celebrated, led by the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK), Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA), Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Green Left Party, is one of the centers where Newroz is celebrated. It became the town of Bazid. "Biji Newroz" slogans were frequently used in the Newroz area, where banners "Dem dema Jin Jiyan to azadiyê", "Newroz fire for freedom" and "We are ready" were unfurled.

Thousands of people gathered in front of the HDP district building and marched towards the Municipality Garage area with torches for the celebrations held with the slogan "Every der Newroz, every moment free". Citizens in the surrounding area supported those marching with slogans such as "Bijî Serok Apo", "Bijî Berxwedana dungeon", "Jin, jiyan azadi", "PKK is the people, the people are here" with applause and slogans. While there is still a heavy flow to the area, the people formed long queues at the call points.

HDP Co-Chair Tayip Temel and HDP Reconciliation Board Member Diba Keskin will each make a speech at Newroz, which will start after the moment of silence.
