URFA - On the 281st day of the ‘’Justice Vigil’’, which Emine Şenyaşar could not attend due to her sickness, Ferit Şenyaşar reacted to the words of the 9th prosecutor appointed to the file, and said, ‘’There was committed a massacre in front of everyone’’.

 

The ‘’Justice Vigil’’ started on March 9 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her spouse and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attacks with injuries, continues on the 281st day. While Emine Şenyaşar cannot come in front of the courthouse today due to her health problems, Ferit Şenyaşar continues the vigil in the area called ‘’Şenyaşar family justice corner’’.

 

‘Prosecutors are trying to acquit them’

 

Ferit Şenyaşar stated that the Justice Vigil continues ‘’under persecution’’ and mentioned that his mother’s health problems have increased. Underlining that they will continue the protest until justice is provided, Ferit said, ‘’My mother, who was a witness of the massacre, made an identification with photographs. When we talked to the 7th file prosecutor, he said, ‘’We identified 23 people who committed massacres in the hospital’’. Then he was replaced to another city. The 8th prosecutor, who came, refused our legal demands. The 9th prosecutor said ‘’unsolved’’ (unsolved murder) about the hospital massacre. We left the words unsolved in the 90s. In 2021, it cannot be called ‘unsolved’. This massacre was committed in front of hundreds of public employees in the state hospital. The hospital has security cameras. Despite these, the prosecutor who says ‘’unsolved’’ commits a crime. This explains the situation of the law to us. We do not accept this. The perpetrators, who committed  massacre in hospital, were identified. Prosecutors are trying to acquit them’’.

On the virtual media account, the family shared the following message by tagging the account of Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül: ‘’The 7th file prosecutor said, ‘I have identified 23 people who committed a massacre in the hospital’. Soon after, his appointment was made. The 9th file prosecutor considers the hospital trial as ‘’unsolved murder’’. Which prosecutor should we believe?’’
