Free Women’s Congress (KJA) issued Kovara Jinên Azad journal after its website.
 
The Free Women’s Congress (KJA), which was announced as a congress after the meeting held in Diyarbakır and became an association in May 2015, issued their journal Kovara Jinên Azad after their website.
 
Some of the prominent developments in history today are as follows:
 
1883: Abolitionist, abortion and right to vote defender Sojourner Truth died.
 
2011: After the earthquake in Van between October 23 and November 9, 2011; Van Women’s Association (VAKAD), Istanbul Feminist Collective, Women for Women’s Human Rights – New Ways, Women’s Solidarity Foundation, Muş Women’s Association, Socialist Feminist Collective, Van Women Folk Poets Association, women’s organizations such as the Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation and Amargi, as well as independent feminists from various provinces of Turkey came together and formed a group called Van Purple Solidarity.
 
2015: A petition was initiated to remove the sexist practice that announces gender during the reading of smart cards within the EGO card of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.
 
2019: Kongreya Star opened the Martyr Peyman Women’s Center in the village of Minazê where is located in the west of Kobanê.
