AĞRI - As a result of the police attack on HDP members who protested the ‘’November 4 political coup’’ with a sit-in in Ağrı, six people were battered and detained.

 

The police attacked the statement that Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Ağrı Provincial Organization wanted to make regarding the ‘’November 4 political coup’’ against their party. While the citizens who wanted to participate in the statement were prevented by the police, the citizens around reacted to the situation. After the statement was not allowed, HDP members started a sit-in.

 

As a result of the police attack on HDP members who were doing a sit-in, six people were detained by battering. Among those detained are HDP Provincial Co-chairs Semra Özden and Erol Berke.
