URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, whose justice vigil is on their 169th day, called, ‘’Let’s eliminate this injustice together. Because everyone needs justice.’’
The vigil, launched on March 9, 2021, by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack with injuries, continues in front of the Urfa Courthouse, demanding ‘’justice’’. The family's request, which has wanted to meet with the file prosecutor and the Şanlıurfa Chief Public Prosecutor since the beginning of the vigil, has not been accepted so far.
Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar entered the courthouse today, once again, demanding a meeting with the Şanlıurfa Chief Public Prosecutor. While the family’s request for a meeting has not yet been answered, the waiting of the mother and son inside the building continues.
The following message was shared with Emine Şenyaşar’s photo taken in front of the court house, from the family’s digital media platform: ‘’I am a heart-stricken mother. I do not want to sit at home and live under persecution while my son has been held in single cell for three years unlawfully. Let’s eliminate this injustice together. Because everyone needs justice.’’
