73 houses raided in Lice and Hani

DİYARBAKIR - 73 houses have been raided in Diyarbakır’s Lice and Hani districts after the curfew declared in two districts was lifted. A legal process against 13 people has been begun.
 
On September 3, 2018, a curfew was declared in Hani’s Kaledibi, Akçayurt, Topçular, Y.Turalı, Kalaba, Uzunlar, Serenköy neighborhoods and Başaklı, Güzelce, Taşburun, Karapilyari, Mezartarlası, Sıraevler, Horsel, Çay, Damlatepe, Uysal, A. Turalı, Gürbulak hamlets and Lice’s Şenlik, Birlik, Abalı, Erginköy, Tuzlaköy, Çeper, Daralan, Duruköy neighborhoods and Elmadere, Ağılçık, Akçapınar, Ayaz, Şakan, Boyluca, Dahlık, Alikahya, Hacımusabey and Kutlamış hamlets. Then, the curfew was lifted on September 4, 2018 at night.
 
Neighborhoods blockaded
 
During the military operation launched in Birlik (Çemêelik), Şenlik (Xırabê) and Speni located between Lice and Hani districts and some neighborhoods of the Hani district were blockaded. The reports say the soldiers closed the entrance and exit of the neighborhoods.
 
73 houses raided
 
The governorate made a statement about the operation and the statement says temporary six checkpoints were built in the operation area and around it. The statement also says 73 houses have been raid and a legal process has been begun against 13 people.
