‘Prisoners resist inside, families outside’

MARDİN - Sêvê Gültekin, who has two sons and relatives held in prison, stated that they have been subjected to torture whenever they go to prison to visit them. “We will resist how the prisoners resist,” said Sêvê.
 
Torture news coming from prisoners, where pressure gradually increases following the declaration of the state of emergency. Sêvê Gültekin, whose two sons and four relatives held in prison, said the families of prisoners would resist to the end.
 
‘I don’t know why my two sons are imprisoned’
 
Expressing that her sons haven’t attended the trial for two years and that she doesn’t know why they are imprisoned, Sêvê said, “The indictment against them haven’t been prepared and no trial has been held until now. My nephews and nieces are also imprisoned. But all children held in prison are my children. All are innocent, they should be released immediately.”
 
‘We are subjected to torture while going to visit them’
 
Stating that not only the prisoners but also families have been subjected to torture while going to prison to visit their relatives, Sêvê continued to speak as follows; “One of my sons is held in Silivri (Prison) now. They do everything when I go there to visit him. We have difficulties during the search and visit. We go so far to see our children but we are subjected to torture.”
 
‘We will not give up’
 
Stating that the families resist as their children, Sêvê said, “One day they will pay the price for this. We will not give up visiting our children. The prisoners are now resisting in all prisons and we will continue to resist with them to the end.”
