NEWS CENTER - Women in Yershov protested Turkish attacks on Afrin.

Kurdish women living in Yershov town of Yershovsky District in Saratov Oblast, Russia protested Turkish attacks on Afrin. The women carrying the photographs of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan often chanted the slogans supporting the resistance of the people of Afrin.

Zelixan Usmanova, member of the Women’s Committee made a speech during the protest and she said, “Turkish state brought just tears and blood to Afrin. Erdoğan spreads blood in the place where all Syrian peoples lived in peace. Our people will raise the struggle to bring Afrin to its old days and they will liberate Afrin. Russian government is in a dirty partnership with the Turkish state in Afrin. We hope the Russian authorities understand their mistakes and become a part of an activity soon to ensure peace in the region.”
