UN: Many civilians killed in Afrin

NEWS CENTER - UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has announced that the attacks of Turkey and its allied groups on Afrin have killed hundreds of civilians and displaced tens of thousands.
 
United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein made a statement on killed civilians due to the attacks of Turkey and its allied groups on Afrin and said many civilians were killed and wounded in the attacks. Zeyd also said, “Turkish troops and allied Syrian forces seized Afrin from Kurdish fighters on Sunday after a two-month offensive. The fighting in both places has killed hundreds of civilians and displaced tens of thousands.”
