Mazıdağ Co-mayor Necla Yıldırım released

İZMİR - Necla Yıldırım, co-mayor of Mardin’s Mazıdağ Municipality, has been released.
 
Co-mayor of Mardin's Mazıdağı district municipality, Necla Yıldırım was detained yesterday on the ground that an “arrest warrant” had been issued against her. Necla has been released after her testimony. An investigation has been opened against her Mazıdağı Public Prosecutor for attending a funeral of member of the HPG in Mazıdağ’s Balpınar (Giresor) in 2015.
 
Necla Yıldırım was removed from office by the Interior Ministry on July 14, 2016 and an trustee was appointed to the municipality.
