NEWS CENTER - As thousands of people gather outside of the building of the United Nations Headquarters in Qamishlo, hundreds of people gather outside of the building of the UN in Erbil. The people carried out an action of civil disobedience in Düsseldorf.

 

The Turkish attacks on Afrin have been protested in many cities of Kurdistan and Europe. In Qamishlo, thousands took to the streets and condemned the attacks. The protesters marched in the city and then carried out a demonstration outside of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Headquarters.

 

The mass protested the silence of the international public opinion for the civilians being killed in the Turkish attacks on Afrin.

 

The action is going on outside of the headquarters.

 

Thousands flock to the streets in Tirbespiyê

 

Thousands flocked to the streets in the Tirbespiyê district of Qamishlo to condemn the attacks on Afrin. The march started in front of headquarters of Kongreya Star continued until the center of the district. The people carrying the flags of the YPG and YPJ shouted slogans to greeting the resistance of Afrin’s people.

 

Protest outside of the building of the UN in Erbil

 

Hundreds of people gathered outside of the building of the United Nations (UN) Representation in Southern Kurdistan’s Erbil city and protested the attacks. Representatives of the Political parties, NGOs and hundreds of people carried the flags of the YPG and YPJ and they shouted slogans such as, “Long live resistance of Afrin”, “Afrin is Kurdistan” and “Terrorist Erdoğan”.

Attacks on protesters in Düsseldorf!

 

The people carried out an action of civil disobedience in Düsseldorf International Airport in Germany. The mass coming from Duisburg, Essen, Düsseldorf and Essen cities protested the Turkish attacks on Afrin in Düsseldorf Airport Terminal C.

 

Tension increased from time to time due to provocation attempts. German police attacked the protesters when the protesters intervened in the provocation and detained four protesters.
