NEWS CENTER - Heyva Sor a Kurdistan (The Kurdistan Red Crescent) launched a solidarity campaign for the people of Afrîn.Through the campaign, it is aimed to purchase medicine, medical supplies and devices will be provided for the hospitals of Afrîn.

 

Heyva Sor a Kurdistan (The Kurdistan Red Crescent) launched a solidarity campaign with the people of Afrîn who are under attack of Turkey and its affiliated groups for 37 days. In the statement made by Heyva Sor a Kurdistan, it is stated "Turkey and its subordinate gangs target and murder civilians including children, elder and women in Afrîn, without respecting any moral codes or law of war. They bomb and destroy houses, schools, mosques, refugee camps etc., on the other word all the places belonging to civilians.At last, they violated all the rules of law of war by targeting an ambulance of Heyva Sor when there were wounded civilians in” and added “according to that our aid organization Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê have started a financial aid campaign for the people of Afrîn. With the financial aid that will be collected in this campaign, medicines, medical supplies and devises will be purchased for the hospitals of Afrîn. All preparations for our aid campaign have been completed and will be in the form of financial assistance in all the countries in Europe and Scandinavia and with Kurdish aid agencies in Japan, Australia, America and Canada."

 

In the statement, it is emphasized that all Kurds and friends, who have contributed to the former campaigns of Heyva Sor a Kurdistan held for the people in Kobanê, Şengal and North Kurdistan with a great responsibility and moral  consciousness,  should right now embrace the people of Afrin with the same responsibility and moral consciousness and help them with all means.
