Ayla Akat Ata sent to the court for arrest

DİYARBAKIR - TJA activist Ayla Akat Ata has been sent to the Criminal Courts of Peace for arrest by Diyarbakır Public Prosecutor.
 
Ayla Akat Ata, an activist of the Free Women’s Movement (TJA) and former MP of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), was taken into custody outside of her house yesterday. This morning, she was sent to Diyarbakır Courthouse after the procedure completed at the police station. Ayla, who has been accused of “propagandizing terrorist organization” for one of her speech in Göle district of Ardahan in 2015, testified to Ardahan Public Prosecutor through the voice and video informatics system (SEGBİS). Ayla has been sent to Ardahan Criminal Courts of Peace for arrest. Ayla will testify to the court trough SEGBİS.
