461st day on Yüksel Avenue: 4 detained

ANKARA - Police attacked the people gathering for “We want our jobs back” action on its 461st day and forcibly detained four people.
 
“We want our jobs back” action initiated by dismissed academic Nuriye Gülmen in front of the Human Rights Monument on Yüksel Avenue carried out by dismissed public laborers has entered in its 461st  day.
 
Protesters gathering on Ankara’s Konur Street wanted to make a statement in front of the Human Rights Monument blockaded by riot police and armored vehicles. Police didn’t allow the protesters to go to in front of the monument. The protesters therefore unfurled a banner reading, “461st day of our resistance, we want our jobs back”.
 
Police attacked the protesters and forcibly detained Nazan Bozkurt, Gülnaz Bozkurt, Mehmet Dersulu and Mahmut Konuk.
